As a chief executive of Workforce Planning Global and the Australian representative to the ISO International Organization for Standardization, she has unique insight into the push and pull of world-wide recruitment practices.
HR management needs to think more about HR metrics, says Sloan. Although people are still the focus of HR functions, analytics needs to move centre stage. Australian businesses are faring well in attracting talent, but in a competitive global market HR needs to stay on its toes.
